KHX05 (pronounced'Chaos') is North Carolina’s rising rapper phenom and trans-rights advocate making their production debut with "On The Run" out on Never Normal Records, a summer single to commemorate Pride 2023.

Drum & bass-filled "On the Run" serves as a powerful affirmation of liberation & freedom through the cutting self-produced beat and lyrics that highlight KHX05 own experiences as a Black trans-femme person and artist living in volatile political environments of 2023.

The track emphasizes the importance of refusing to be bound by oppressive systems and societal constructs, no matter the challenges you may encounter. It sonically symbolizes a relentless pursuit of personal empowerment and the determination to break free from any limitations that hinder your progress and joy.
